Coming Out Support Group
Whether you’re still in the closet or have recently come out, the Coming Out Support Group is a safe, affirming place to share your thoughts and feelings about the coming out process. It is also a good place to build your support network, ask questions, and learn about resources that might benefit you as a gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender person. You don’t have to do this alone. Attendance is free.
You must be 18 or older to attend this group.
Am I ready to come out?
Coming out is a process. It doesn’t happen all at once, and there is no “right” or “wrong” way to do it. For some, coming out happens in stages. You may tell one person, or several. It may be family first, or friends first, or both. Deciding whom to tell and when are important choices. Sharing your thoughts with others and hearing others’ experience as part of a confidential group can help you in this process.
This is a peer support meeting hosted by Terry Demars.
This group is for people to come together and tell their stories to give and receive support.
